Magnus Cole
Chairman & Trustee
Magnus entered the Faculty of Economics & Social Sciences in 1979. A product of Albert Academy and Sierra Leone Grammar School in Freetown, Sierra Leone and former Chairman SLGS OBA UK, he gained his economics degree in 1983.
He went on to work in administration for the American Life Insurance Company (ALICO) and as an entrepreneur in the leisure, music and tourism industries prior to departing for the UK in 1987.
His academic background comprises economics, accountancy and finance. He has worked as a senior business development/sales executive in media sales and the global events industry coupled with a range of entrepreneurship activity.

Henrietta Oladuni Harding
Vice Chair & Trustee
Graduated with a BEng (Hons) degree in Electrical engineering from FBC. She was 2nd Lady of Kalina Selina Sorority, member of Deflosacs & Strovecs. After graduating, she worked as a Senior Engineer with Sierra Leone Telecommunications Company (SIERRATEL) where she was instrumental in establishing the Telephone land line exchanges used across the whole of Sierra Leone.
Most of her working life has been in Telecommunications, Networking and Service Management with companies such as Alcatel, Hutchison 3G(Three), Ericsson, Virgin Media, Capita and Vodafone. Currently Global Head (UK & US regions) of the IT Change Management at a Global Electricity and Gas utility producer and supplier company.
Outside of her day job, Henrietta is also a Church Warden at her local church. She is married with two grown up children.

Frank Musa
Constitutional & Governance Lead
& Trustee
Frank holds a BA degree in French and History from the Faculty of Arts, FBC in 1986 and a MA in Educational Psychology (Tavistock/UEL U.K), PGCE/QTS (Middlesex U.K) and is currently a Special Education Needs teacher at Riverside School, London.
After graduation, Frank joined the banking world, working at Barclays Bank for several years before proceeding to teach advanced level French in the Gambia. He left in 2005 for UK to study the courses stated above.
As part of a Senior management team, Frank line-manages a Team 1 department comprising 4 teachers and 12 teaching assistants responsible for a range of duties including appraisals, quality assurance reviewing, monitoring, and evaluating performance, teaching and learning and students’ progress and attainment.

Fatumata Gassama
Executive Secretary & Trustee
Fatumata was Director of Ceremonies and First Lady of Kala Selina, a Scribe for Deflosacs, Golden Z and the Pure and Applied Science Society. She made posters for Student Union dances, campaigned twice and won Solomon Caulker elections for her candidate. After two years chasing butterflies in the Botanical Gardens, she achieved a BSc (Hons) Zoology in 1991.
While working as an Administrator in Finance and the National Health Service, Fatumata attained an MBA and certificates in Project Management and Public Health. She is currently an executive of two other charities and a creative.
As Yazidu Designs she designed the FBC AA UK logo

Kona Seibure
Admin Secretary
A Social Worker and a mental health practitioner.
CEO and founder of Advocacy for mental health and human rights, a rights based mental health advocacy charity registered with the Government of Sierra Leone, dedicated to improving the lives of young peoples mental wellbeing through psycho education and anti stigma campaigns.

Ajaratu Sesay
Public Relations & Communications Lead
& Trustee
Ajaratu graduated with a BSc Honours degree in the faculty of Botany, FBC in 1993.
She moved to the UK in 1994; following completion of a BSc Honours in Child Nursing, she joined the National Health Services.
In 2004, she completed a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse training in Health Visiting, supporting families with evidence based information in the communities; ensuring children are thriving and developing to the best of their abilities in safe home environments.
She is married with a beautiful daughter and supports vulnerable children in the Community as a Foster Carer, providing a loving and happy home for them.
Ajaratu loves swimming, dancing, listening to music, cooking and having fun in the company of like minded people.

Rowland Awoonor-Gordon
Bid-writer(Finance Lead) & Trustee
Holding a BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering degree from the University of Sierra Leone and an MSc degree in Urban Civil Engineering from South Bank University Rowland is a Highway Asset Manager for Croydon Council. He manages a team working on diverse projects.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Sierra Leone Institution of Engineers he is involved in charities promoting and supporting Sierra Leone education.
He is a Trustee of three; Engineers for Change, Sierra Leone, Sierra Leone Grammar School Old Boys Association Foundation Trust and the Fourah Bay College Alumni Association

Suluku Kalawa
Organising Secretary
Suluku entered the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences in 1987.
He graduated with B.Sc. (Hons) in Development Economics in 1992.
He was a member of the Davidson Nicol Hall and also an active member of the Enjoyers of Quimanora, Happy Men of Cyclades and became an Admiral of the Sailors of Paciphix clubs.
Suluku worked briefly at SalCost before proceeding to the UK in 1993. He has worked for London Underground Ltd for over 25 years where he obtained various supervisory and managerial licences.
He is a Customer Service Manager, a role that he enjoys doing.

Bamikole Roberts
Treasurer
Bamikole Roberts BSc (Econs), MSc, FCCA, PGCE is currently a Lecturer at City and Islington College.
He entered FBC in 1979, graduating with a BSc (Econs) degree in 1983.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years lecturing experience in Sixth Form Colleges and Further Education Colleges.
He is the founder of Save Children in Africa in Need (SCAN) and Empowering Young Minds (EYM).
He also works as a Consultant, providing advice and other services to Charities.

Al Hassan Bangura
Assistant Treasurer
Al Hassan entered Davidson Nicol Hall, Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone in 1988. Graduated with BEng (Hons) Electrical Engineering from the University of Sierra Leone in 1992.
In Sierra Leone, he worked as teacher at the Prince of Wales School, Engineer NCR and intermittently as System Consultant for Sierra Leone Port Authority and KPMG Gambia before migrating to UK in 2001.
In the UK, he completed his professional Accountancy qualification, becoming a Fellow for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2002.
He then worked as Finance Manager/ Financial Analyst for UK charities and accountancy practices before forming his own ACCA accountancy practice firm called AL Accounting Solutions with offices in Bristol and London.
Al Hassan currently resides in Bristol Southwest England and is married with five children.

Emlyn Ade Palmer
External Relationships Lead (UK)
Emlyn holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Fourah Bay College, the University of Sierra Leone, and an MSc in Business and Management Research from Henley Business School, the University of Reading.
Emlyn is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA).
Emlyn is an investment professional with specialisms in Alternative Investments and Sustainable Investing. He is also a non-executive director of a workplace wellness technology company.
He is based in London and participates in the governance of a number of charitable organisations.

Ivor Patnelli
Trustee
Ivor graduated with a degree in Philosophy and History from Fourah Bay College's Faculty of Arts and earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Queensland, Australia in 1986.
He is a product of Saint Edward's Secondary School in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
He worked in a variety of civil service positions in Sierra Leone's Ministries of Works, Mines, and the Public Service Commission.
In the United Kingdom, he held various positions at the Department of Works and Pensions (DWP) and His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
He was employed in a range of positions within the London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Sutton.
He is a devout Catholic.

Kankay Yumkella
Trustee
Kankay holds a BA in history and sociology from the University of Sierra Leone and an MBA in management from the University of Hull. She was a member of Davidson Nicol and ladybird of Deflosacs.
She is an operations and organisational change management expert. She has an extensive operational experience leading high performing teams and delivering business performance.
She is a mentor and has been involved in community work for over two decades.
She is passionate about empowering youth and the founder of KIND Sierra Leone.

Victor Benjamin
Trustee
Upon completion of his Mechanical Engineering studies at Fourah Bay College, Victor entered the Insurance industry and embarked upon a career as an international loss adjuster specialising in engineering, construction and energy Insurance.
His assignments have taken him to six continents and in 2008 he became a founding Director and CEO of an international loss adjusting and risk surveying company, headquartered in the City of London with an international network across Europe, Africa, USA, Latin America, the Far East and Australasia.
He is now also involved in the training of the next generation of international loss adjusters and a board director of a US based STEM education non-profit.
Victor was a member of Bai Bureh Hall and also an active member of the Excelsior Fraternity, Cyclades, Quimanora & Strovecs Clubs.

Karamoh Karifallah Foday Daboh
Chaplain (Islamic)
Imam of the FBC Muslim Association (1982-1984) and Executive Member of the Bo Student Union (1983 to 1984), he graduated from FBC with a BA.
He served in various capacities at the Sierra Leone Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1985-1991); Middle East Desk, Consular Services and Rapporteur at the UN/SL Middle East Peace Conference (1987).
Karamoh was a member of the 1985 Sierra Leone delegation to the Heads of State Ecowas Summit.
A lawyer with an LLB (Hons) from Birkbeck University, he currently works in the Service Improvement and Performance Team for the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea in London.

Hassan Omolaja
External Relationships Committee Lead (Sierra Leone)
Hassan Olatunji Kehinde Omolaja entered Fourah Bay College in 1983 and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), History. He also holds an MA in Modern International Studies from the University of Leeds in 1991.
He worked briefly at State House as Personal Assistant to the Presidential Affairs Minister before travelling to the UK for further studies.
He entered the British Civil Service in 1993, as an Executive Officer with Her Majesty’s Customs & Excise and was transferred to the Immigration Department where he worked until 2009.
In Sierra Leone he was part of the team at the NRA that introduced the Goods and Services Tax in 2010. Appointed later as Deputy Director of the Mamamah International Airport project in 2013 where he worked until its cessation in 2018.
Hassan is married to Miatta and they have three grown up sons.
