A registered UK charity with the purpose of facilitating an empowering environment
for Students & Lecturers at Fourah Bay College, Freetown, Sierra Leone.
With the goal of enhancing the student educational journey.
Our Vision has been driven from what is perceived as a requirement for Stakeholders including alumni, friends and supporters of Fourah Bay College to create a significant and effective human capacity platform that can be derived from a span of intergenerational collaboration globally and in Sierra Leone.
This vision can be primarily espoused in a values framework which can best be described as a Four Pillar approach guided and protected by our trustees, executive body and our members as custodians thereby prohibiting: -
1) The politicisation of issues
2) Tribalism
3) Corruption and
4) Nepotism in the workings and deliberations of this august body. Subsequently, a formidable and diverse team has been assembled over the past few years and now comprises trustees, executives/working committees.
Objective

To advance the equality of education of all students at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone in Freetown in Sierra Leone, by providing assistance in various ways on the basis of equality of opportunity, with mutual respect and positive encouragement in order to develop their full potential and contribute to their academic, professional and personal development in relation to their communities as a whole.
The Scholarship Tuition Fund and Mentorship Programme in due course will aim to relieve deserving
students of financial hardship by providing financial support in the form of assistance and scholarships as
identified and as required.

To improve the quality of education at Fourah Bay College by providing teaching and learning resources and a safe teaching and learning environment for students in Sierra Leone.
Mission Statements
